This is a “2 for 1” show: The 1st half is a 70's Classic Rock Revival set while the 2nd half is a Holiday Spectacular!

The Baldassarre Rock Orchestra is led by the award-winning guitarist and composer Carl Baldassarre and his band featuring the world-renown Mark Boals on lead vocals as well as the incomparable OPUS 216 string ensemble.

A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Carl Baldassarre experienced early success as a guitarist for the rock band Abraxas. He has amassed a significant and diverse recording catalogue in many genres having worked with many celebrated rock and classical musicians including the London Symphonic Chamber Orchestra and members of Tower of Power, Tears for Fears, Genesis, Kiss and many more. Carl studied composition under Dr. Marshall Griffith PhD (Cleveland Institute of Music) and is also a product of both the Cleveland Music School Settlement and John Carroll University.

Our 9-piece rock orchestra is led by the award-winning guitarist and composer Carl Baldassarre and his band, along with the world-renown string quartet OPUS 216. The show is a spectacle where classical music and rock music unite, beckoning music enthusiasts for an unparalleled live experience with its fusion of 1970s and 1870s aesthetics both musically and visually.

The orchestras repertoire spans a diverse discography of original rock and classical music as well as interpretations of classic rock songs by Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Deep Purple, Stevie Wonder and more! Most recently the rock orchestra has been performing original music from Baldassarre’s 2024 Grammy contending album, Grand Boulevard which received Album of the Year and Rock Song of the Year consideration. Recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London, Guitar World magazine described Grand Boulevard as “…a sprawling album full of ingenuity.”
